Peg Leg Pete’s opened March 1, 1991, selling only oysters, shrimp and a few sandwiches. There was always a great selection on the jukebox or a talented musician on the stage in the dining room. Peg Leg Pete’s soon became one of the hot spots on Pensacola Beach. Locals loved the year round great prices. Tourists were treated as if they lived here.
